Kits that cover 96 feet will run about $1,000.00. This may sound expensive but it's a lot cheaper than having a professional do the installation which could run you double the amount noted.

More severe water issues will cost more to correct and repair. Excavation around the outside of the foundation will alone will easily cost several hundred dollars. If you must install a waterproof barrier, gravel and drains expect to pay at minimum of $5,000.00. If you decide that a sump pump is necessary, don't forget you'll need to excavate either the basement floor or outside and the gravel and drains which can run $2,000 up to $4,000 or more.

To do the job right, it may take more materials than you think and increase the cost. Don't take any shortcuts because the stability of your home is depending upon having the strongest foundation possible.
